Tank's Stadium Tour: American Family Field
Home of the Milwaukee Brewers, I threw out the first pitch before a game against the Chicago Cubs in May 2024. American Family Field, originally named Miller Park, has been home to the Milwaukee Brewers since 2001. It is a retractable roof stadium. The roof was open on the game I attended.
The stadium had a tragic start when three iron fitters were killed during construction in 1999, resulting in a one-year delay in its initial opening. It is the Brewers' second home in Milwaukee, having played at County Stadium from 1970-2000.
Among the famous features in Milwaukee are Bernie Brewer's home run slide and the sausage race. Tune in as I tour American Family Field and test some of the top food items.
